Picture Framing Classes

These picture framing classes are not about making the frames but rather specifics about frame choice, picture framing design aesthesis, whether matting should be used, choice of picture frame glass, stretching of needlework and stretching of canvases for oil paintings and photographs, refer below for session outline.

Design and balance fundamentals

• Frame colour
• Picture Frame width
• Mat width

Correct Use of the following

• Mat boards (borders around pictures)
• Picture Frame Glass
• Stretching of oil paintings, photographs, tapestries, needlework and
Embroideries
• Hanging of picture and photo frames.

Followed by Question and answer session.
