A effective way to mount posters and items of a decorative nature is Vacuum mounting. This process involves applying adhesive to a backing (commonly mdf or foamcore). Then placing the poster on the adhesive surface and then placing the sandwich of the backing/adhesive/poster into a vacuum press. Frames NOW have facilities to vacuum mount up to 250cm long.
Vacuum mounting will not only ensure the poster stays permanently flat in the picture frame, but will also remove some creasing.
