All stretching of all paintings and photographs come with the Frames NOW Life Time Guarantee that your canvas will never sag or become over stretched. All stretcher frames are manufactured from kiln dried timber to ensure stability over time. The stretcher bars are specially machined to ensure that your oil painting won’t crack on the edges to stretching or the emulsion on your photograph will not crack. The design of the stretcher for your oil painting or photograph is specially machined so that the inner edge of the stretcher bar (which you cannot see) will never produce a rub line on your artwork.
Depending on your image to be stretched and the “look” you are wanting to achieve, we are able to wrap the image onto the side of the stretcher frame. We use acid free backings to seal and protect the rear of your stretched oil painting canvas or stretched photograph.
Our picture framers, many artists themselves, are experienced and competent at providing stretching for oil paintings and photographs and work closely with major galleries and leading professional photographers.
All stretched canvases and photographs come complete with suitable hanging. The Frames NOW picture framers can show you in our frame shop how to make your oil paintings look the very best when stretched. Aboriginal oil paintings, a canvas painting you have bought from your recent trip to Bali look great when stretched onto stretcher frames, giving a great framing result.
