After two years of research and illustration, The Bellarine Map will be making its public debut!
Brought to you by the makers of the iconic and award-winning Melbourne Map, a special exhibition will be held over the Australia Day long weekend, in the main street of Portarlington, next to the Grand Hotel.
Artist Deborah Young-Monk will be working on the original illustration for five days, and founder/producer Melinda Clarke will share the process of creating these historic drawings.
If you love the Bellarine Peninsula and would like to contribute your suggestions to what we include in the final artwork, here’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.
During this special exhibition on the Australia Day weekend, they’ll offer pre-sales of the limited edition and open edition copies including a pre-order discount. The pop-up exhibition will also showcase other illustrated maps and artist’s work.
